Bob graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1981. He began his career in St. Louis with Price Waterhouse in the tax department working with individual tax clients as well as privately held businesses and their owners. In November 1988, Bob left Price Waterhouse and opened his own practice.  Since that time, Bob has continued to work with individuals and privately held companies and their owners and together with Ryan Bricker and Jay Adams, Bob formed Hoffman, Bricker & Adams, P.C. in May 1997. Bob currently is licensed in Missouri and a member of both the MSCPA and the AICPA.

Bob's areas of expertise include all areas of taxation, divorce, issues related to closely-held businesses and other financial and accounting matters.

Bob is a native of St. Louis and currently lives in West St. Louis County. Bob has worked with numerous not-for-profit organizations and charities, mostly centered around the welfare of children.
